At least 22 people have been killed in storm-related incidents as Tropical Storm Nate swept across Central America on Thursday.
The storm has caused 11 deaths in Nicaragua, at least eight in Costa Rica and three in Honduras, according to officials from the Central American countries.
More than 20 people are also reported missing as heavy rains, landslides and floods bear down on the nations.
The US National Hurricane Center forecasts Nate to continue moving northward, and is expected to bring heavy rainfall in the next few days.
