U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has met with DRPK envoy General Kim Yong Chol in New York. Pompeo tweeted that he had a "good working dinner" with Kim, who is the highest-ranking DPRK official to set foot on US soil in 18 years. The General is also a trusted adviser to DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, and is playing a pivotal role in preparations for a summit between the leaders of the two countries.
