We begin in Beijing, where China's biggest political season, the Two Sessions is underway. Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a panel discussion with National People's Congress deputies from Guangdong province earlier Wednesday.

The southern province is one of the frontiers of China's reform and opening-up policy. During the discussion, Xi reinforced Chinese government's commitment in furthering the policy, and encouraged the success of local companies. Responding to a deputy's advice on industrial innovation and talents, Xi said innovation-driven growth is key in making China stronger, and talents are the key for innovation.
