Five people were killed and 10 others injured after a van collided with a coach in a highway in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Wednesday morning.

Five people died at the scene and the injured have been hospitalized.

The road incident happened around 7:00 a.m. and several people were trapped in the coach after the crash.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
