MOFA: China's position on THAAD has not changed

China's position on the deployment of the US-backed Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) in the Republic of Korea (ROK) is clear, consistent and has not changed, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Proper handling of the THAAD issue and the removal of obstacles in China-ROK relations are common goals of the two countries, Hua added.
Earlier on Tuesday, the ministry said the two countries had agreed to get their relations back on track following high-level talks.
