In celebration of the friendship between China and Greece, Beijing's China Science and Technology Museum has opened an exhibition called "Eureka! Science, Art and Technology of the Ancient Greeks."
The exhibition uses nine major themes to showcase the technological achievements of ancient Greece. Greece's Museum Herakleidon worked closely with the Chinese museum to present the exhibit for the first time in Beijing.
The exhibition aims to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries and showcase each nation's cultural heritage.

Most importantly they hope the exhibition can motivate the public's interest in science and improve their scientific literacy.

Pavlos Firos, founder of Museum Herakleidon said: "This exhibition has many aspects, one aspect is to see the achievement of the ancient Greece, and the other aspect is to see how in general people address problems and try to find solutions, the visitor will see about fifty of such innovative ideas and most of them have changed the course of history."
Meanwhile, an exhibition of ancient Chinese science and technology was held at the Museum Herakleidon in September.
