A man was mauled by a tiger in Yageer Zoo in Ningbo of east China’s Zhejiang Province on Sunday afternoon. Other visitors to the zoo said the man, reported to have been rescued and transferred to hospital, got up close to the tiger enclosure and was “teasing” one of the animals before it grabbed and dragged him off into its living area. Staff at the zoo tried to distract the tiger with firecrackers and water guns. According to sources, the man died in hospital.
