Two arrested after French counter-terrorism raid near Paris

Two people have been arrested on Wednesday after police found components that can be used for manufacturing explosives at an apartment in Villejuif, a suburb of Paris, AFP reported.

It is reported that a demining operation was underway on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. local time.

France's counter-terrorism prosecutor will be in charge of the investigation, AFP said citing a judicial source.
