The Chinese commerce ministry says China has banned exports of items to the DPRK with potential dual use in weapons of mass destruction.
This is the second time China issued such a ban to reflect UN Security Council resolution number 2375, which was adopted in September over Pyongyang's ballistic missile and nuclear programs. The list included details of 32 materials, technologies and forms of equipment, which include particle accelerators and centrifuges. This ban comes amid a tightening of other Chinese exports to the DPRK. There was an exports ban on crude oil and refined petroleum products in January, in line with UN sanctions.
