China has welcomed the recent rapprochement between the DPRK and South Korea and China's Foreign Ministry has called for talks between the two sides to continue.  

GENG SHUANG CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRY SPOKESMAN "China welcomes the inter-Korean talks at the Winter Olympics. The DPRK and the ROK are one nation and their rapprochement is in the interest of both sides. It also contributes to peace and development in the region. We hope all parties can make joint efforts to make inter-Korean talks a routine and to extend the talks to interaction with more parties involved, especially interaction between the DPRK and the United States. Starting from improving inter-Korean relations, all parties should work together to maintain peace and to work towards denuclearization of the Korean peninsula."
