China has pledged to import eight trillion dollars in goods in the next five years according to China's Foreign Minister and State Councilor Wang Yi. Wang also promised to attract 600 billion dollars of foreign investment at the same time. He reiterated China's commitment to market opening-up in his address to state leaders and business representatives.
