Building fire kills five in east China

At least five people were killed and four others injured in a building fire in east China's Jiangsu Province early Sunday morning, local authorities said.

The fire broke out at around 0:19 a.m. local time in a building in Changshu City. According to the initial investigation, the accident was caused by an electrical circuit problem.

As of 10:00 a.m., five of the nine injured who were hospitalized have been confirmed dead and the other four are in stable condition.
