The diplomatic crisis between Qatar and several of its neighboring countries has not just affected people in the tiny country. Saudi Arabia has also expelled thousands of Qatari camels and sheep.
Around 12,000 camels and 5,000 sheep were left stranded at the border with little to eat and drink. The Qatari government has provided temporary shelters to the border region to prevent more livestock from dying.
Earlier in June, Saudi Arabia and its allies gave Qatari citizens two-week deadline to leave. This has forced Qatari farmers with livestock in Saudi Arabia to move their animals back to the emirate.
