SHANGHAI RESIDENT "I love the blue skies here today. In 2018, I want the government to put more legislative efforts into protecting our environment, and make our skies bluer and our water cleaner."

TAIYUAN RESIDENT "I will soon graduate, and I'm worried that it will be difficult for me to find a job. Now China has more college graduates. I hope more job opportunities can be provided for us."

BEIJING RESIDENT "As an entrepreneur, I wish for a more fair business environment with fewer restrictions. That will benefit the development of companies."

CHENGDU RESIDENT "I hope the NPC deputies and CPPCC members can pay some attention to the housing price issue, as it is still too high and it's very difficult for us average people to afford a house in urban areas."

ZHENGZHOU RESIDENT "Seeing doctors is quite an issue now. There are a lot of people in the hospital and we need to wait for days before we can see a doctor."

NINGXIA RESIDENT "I am from Ningxia. I hope the government will carry out more favorable policies to support the development of the western areas, and lift more people out of poverty there so they can become better off."
