A man was found sleeping in the entrance to a bank amid freezing temperatures on Friday night in Luoyang, in central China’s Henan Province. The farmer said he had spent all his savings trying to get medical treatment for sick relatives and was now trying to sell 1,000 kilograms of sweet potatoes to bring in some extra cash. The video went viral with many netizens appealing to residents to buy sweet potatoes from the man. Locals also followed through and snapped up the sweet spuds hoping to help the man spend a good Spring Festival with his family. As a result, he nearly sold all his products and sent some sweet potatoes to local sanitation workers to pay the love forward.
