On the eve of Lunar Chinese New Year, a group of special guests also sent out their wishes.
A total of 17 giant panda cubs appeared in the Shenshuping Protection Base in Wolong National Nature Reserve, southwest China’s Sichuan Province Thursday morning, trying to send their New Year wishes to people across the country and overseas in a unique way.
The baby pandas are happily playing with their toys. These favorite creatures were all born in 2017. On this special occasion of the year, their home is exquisitely decorated with different kinds of Spring Festival ornaments, including Chinese knots, red lanterns, and character "Fu."
Giant pandas are popular among people from all over the world. Pandas have been loaned to different countries to strengthen bilateral ties.
In 2017, a total of 42 giant panda cubs were born in the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, which includes three bases – in Wolong, Dujiangyan and Ya'an.
