[]
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has secured a third consecutive term in the general elections, as his right-wing party takes a thumping lead in the general elections.
His coalition party Fidesz is projected to win 133 of 199 seats in parliament -- a two-thirds majority.
The country's right-wing Jobbik party came a distant second, winning 26 seats. Chairman Gabor Vona prompted his resignation after the results. Also doing the same is the chief of left-wing Socialist Party, after scoring far fewer votes that expected. The party only took up over 11 percent of the votes.
