China has taken various measures to improve the laws and institutions for ensuring enforcement of the Constitution, including the establishment of Constitution Day, developing the system for pledging constitutional allegiance, adopting a decision on granting amnesty to certain prisoners, and enacting the Law on National Medals and Titles of Honor, according to the report delivered at the ongoing NPC session on Sunday by Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
