Turkish volleyball club Vakifbank renew Chinese star Zhu Ting's contract

Turkish Vakifbank announced on Thursday that Chinese player Zhu Ting will continue to play in the club next season, according to its website.
Zhu Ting, MVP of 2016 Rio Olympic, joined Vakifbank last September and helped the club to crown 2017 CEV European Champions League and FIVB World Club Championship. Zhu also claimed the Most Valuable Player in both tournaments.
Zhu's contract has been talked among volleyball fans since the end of last season. After a period of waiting, Vakifbank confirmed to renew Zhu's contract on its official website and social media.

"I will play next season for Vakifbank, so happy!" Zhu said in a video posted by Top Volley Group, a sport agency which is responsible for Zhu's transfer.
Vakifbank has renewed Milena Rasic and Zhu Ting's contracts, and signed with American outside-hitter Kelsey Robinson in place of Kimberly Hill who left the club after the end of last season.
