Following last week's successful leaders' summit, we are now seeing even further collaboration between the North and the South. Both sides confirmed this morning that the DPRK will shift its time zone 30 minutes earlier to align with South Korea. Meanwhile, the South Korean Defense Ministry said they will remove broadcast equipment along the border with the DPRK on Tuesday, as the first step to implement the agreement reached during the Moon-Kim summit. Our correspondent Shane Hahm has more from Seoul.
SHANE HAHM SEOUL "This was directed directly from DPRK leader Kim Jong Un himself when he noticed that there were two clocks hanging in the peace house. So it's a way to show that the South is being less hostile to the DPRK, and vice versa as well. The South Koreans have actually dismantled these broadcast right before the summit but now they have agreed to dismantle it completely."
