The Broadway smash musical "West Side Story" is being staged in Shanghai for the first time.
The original version, which caused a sensation in New York, was nominated for 6 Tony Awards following its debut in 1957.
And now, with an updated score, the team hopes for similar success among Chinese theater-goers.
