A new documentary is creating quite a buzz across the country. Entitled "Amazing China", the film focuses on China's major achievements since the Communist Party's 18th National Congress in 2012. Here's what viewers in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province had to say about the documentary.
In a cinema in Xi'an, "Amazing China" attracted a full-house. In the 90-minute documentary, people see "Chinese Miracles" accomplished in recent years from the Dream Project to technological innovations, and from a green China to a more "well-off" society. The film focuses on key Chinese infrastructure projects in aerospace, high-speed rail, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the world's largest single-dish telescope FAST.
"It is so exciting, especially the development in recent five years. The China Roads, China Bridges, China Automobiles and China Net, for example, make us so proud. The anti-poverty projects are so heartwarming."
"The part about education and health care reforms impressed me a lot. As long as we work and study hard, we can achieve a better life."
"Amazing China" also focuses on the stories of common people and the changes in their daily life. From improvement in people's livelihoods, better ecological protection, to a strengthened national security system.
