Ma Shanxiang, an NPC deputy from southwest China's Chongqing, talked with Xi Jinping on Saturday, while the Chinese President was attending the discussion with deputies from the municipality. Ma said that Xi's ideas have informed his everyday work. Ma, a CPC member, has worked for nearly 30 years in the neighborhoods of his sub-district as a mediator of disputes.
