ROK announces new independent sanctions on DPRK

The Republic of Korea (ROK) announced it would add 20 Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) organizations and 12 individuals to its sanctions blacklist, Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday.
The new sanctions, which go into effect on Monday, aim at cutting off international funding for Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programs.
