Chinese archaeologists have discovered the ruins of an unusual imperial gate in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, northwest China. Archaeologists from Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology and Yulin Cultural Relic Bureau have spent two years excavating the city gate. Covering 2,100 square meters, the ruins of Shimao Imperial City date back 4,000 years. This imperial gate is the largest and most ornate ever found in China.
