That Georgia incident comes just hours after a deadly shooting at another high school in Texas. 10 people are dead and another 10 wounded after a shooter opened fire inside Sante Fe High School on Friday morning.

The gunman was identified as 17-year-old student Dimitrios Pagourtzis. He was arrested on murder charges and denied bail in court. Police say the suspect used a shotgun and a 38-caliber revolver owned by his father. He had planned to take his own life but surrendered to authorities instead. Multiple homemade explosives have been found in a vehicle linked to the suspect. Another person is in police custody. Friday's incidents are the latest in a series of deadly shootings at American schools. In February, 17 students and teachers were shot dead at a Florida high school.
