Taiwan earthquake: Five missing Beijing tourists confirmed dead

Five tourists from Beijing, who had been trapped in rubble after Tuesday's earthquake, were confirmed dead on Friday, bringing the total death toll to 17, according to local media.
The 6.5-magnitude earthquake jolted near Hualien at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
