Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri says moving the US embassy to Jerusalem is a declaration of war against the Arab and Muslim world. Top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat also slammed the move, which is planned to happen in May, intended to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Israel's establishment. On the same day, medics say about 32 Palestinians were injured in clashes that broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian demonstrators in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip on Friday. The protests in the Palestinian territories have been going on every Friday since Trump declared on December 6th that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
