China slams Japan's defense white paper

Japan's new defense white paper played "the same old tune" by making rude comments on China's normal defense and military development, visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday before leaving Manila.
Japan's cabinet on Tuesday approved a defense white paper for 2017 which once again devoted a large part to mudding China's normal maritime activities to justify Japan's militarization.
Japan released its first white paper on defense in 1970 and had been compiling new versions annually since 1976.
