Lana Wachowski, co-writer and show runner behind the hit sci-fi drama series “Sense8”, revealed that she is working on the script for the third season during an online interview on Saturday.
Wachowski said in addition to a two-hour finale, she is “actually going ahead and writing the entire Season 3.”
"Because she believes so much in the fans," Lana said, referring herself in the third person.

The news comes after Netflix announced in June that it was not being renewed.
It is unclear if the new script will eventually be made into shows and who will air the new series.
Earlier this month, the streaming service released a video honoring the role fans played in reviving “Sense8”. Devastated fans petitioned online to bring back the show which garnered more than half a million signatures. This resulted in Netflix giving the greenlight to a two-hour season finale scheduled to be released near year.
"What you fans did is quite frankly unbelievable," Lana Wachowski said in the video. "It happened, you did it, it's real."
She also paid tribute to Netflix, praising them for listening to fans.

“Sense8” was originally streamed on Netflix on June 5, 2015. It tells the story of eight strangers from different parts of the world who are mentally and emotionally linked, or “sensates” as they call in the show, and fight together against the organization that wants to eliminate them.
The show was filmed almost entirely on location in various cities of the world, including London, San Francisco, Berlin, Seoul, New Delhi and Nairobi.
However, Netflix decided to axe the show after two seasons, partly due to soaring production costs – a single episode reportedly cost around nine million dollars.
The show has been met with favorable reviews. It was praised for its diverse casting choices, inclusiveness of LGBT culture, and themes of unity and friendship across cultural divides.
"Sense8" won a GLAAD award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2016 and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series this year.
