China has expressed support and encouragement for positive developments on the Korean Peninsula and urged direct dialogue between the DPRK and the United States.
LU KANG SPOKESMAN, CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRY "We have reiterated -- the key resolution of security concerns regarding the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula is between the DPRK and the United States. Only direct dialogue between the two sides can really resolve it and fundamentally transform the situation on the Peninsula. We hope all relevant parties can work and move forward together."
