How far can one go to express his affection towards an IPhone X? The answer from an Indian young man is to treat it as his bride.
Which is what he did with his beloved smart device as soon as he could on Friday, when the latest IPhone model was rolled out in Thane, west India.
Knowing that he might not be able to get hold of the new product due to a very limited supply, Mashesh Paliwal, an avid 21-year-old iPhone user, who had been saving for a year for Apple's latest device, was egged on by his local iPhone dealer to dress as a groom and come to collect the smart phone riding a horse.

According to Mashesh, the dealer, a man named Sameer, jokingly told him in a phone call that the shop would consider setting a piece aside for him if he was willing to come with a baraat – a traditional Indian wedding custom that involves the groom riding a horse to his bride’s house in the company of families and performers.
“It was meant to be a joke, but I thought why not!" said Mashesh to a local newspaper.

With the help of 15 friends, Mashesh pulled off his stylish horse ride and the dealer kept his promise, making him the first person to have the IPhone X in Thane.
But Mashesh’s father was said to be “very angry” about his son making this kind of scene for a gadget.
“He is not speaking to me, but he will come around,” the IPhone lover said.
IPhone X is by far the most expensive model in the Apple smart phone series, worth 999 US dollars – roughly 64,485 rubies before tax.
