The southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing is known for a great many things. Delectably spicy food, thousands of bridges spanning its beautiful rivers, the list goes on. In recent years though, it has gained a new reputation as China's mountain city.
It became an instant hit online — Watching city trains pass through buildings. The monorail network in Southwestern China's Chongqing is one of a kind. Due to the city's mountainous terrain, rail lines and roads are elevated. It's easy for people to spot cars driving right stories or more above ground. It took workers extra time and labor to pave the routes along small and big hills.
