“We stayed together after the boat sank. We shared food and water in our bags and left most of the water for the children,” recalled Yang Yaoru, one of the 20 Chinese tourists who were rescued after a Malaysian boat carrying them sank off the coast of Sabah state on Saturday. Five people are still unaccounted for and three Chinese tourists have been confirmed dead.
