That left a number of backers savoring the afternoon, while looking forward to the future.

Arsene Wenger led Arsenal to three English Premier League trophies, and a record seven FA Cups, with his crowning moment being the 2003-04 season when the Gunners won the EPL with a record of 26 wins, 12 draws, and no losses. It is memories like those from that Invincible era that came to mind, as spectators signed a tribute book ahead of kickoff, which will be presented to the long-serving coach at the end of this farewell campaign.
