Pyeongchang Winter Olympics: S. Korea grabs gold in women's 3,000m short track speed skating relay

At the Olympics, South Korea won gold Tuesday in the women's three thousand meter short track speed skating relay, defending the title they won in Sochi. China had actually finished second but was disqualified for impeding, allowing third-placed Italy to move up to silver. Canada was penalized too, moving the Netherlands onto the podium for bronze.
China had advanced to the final of the event as a group winner in early competition while setting an Olympic record. China will appeal to the technical committee of the International Skating Union on the consistency of the penalty.
