The search continues for Zhang Yingying, the missing visiting Chinese scholar who was studying at the University of Illinois. Champaign County Crime Stoppers, a crime victim service, is now offering 50,000 US dollars as a reward to anyone who helps find the student.
Zhang has been missing since June 9, when she was last seen on the university's campus. Despite the search continuing, police say they believe she's no longer alive.
A grand jury has indicted Brendt Christensen for kidnapping. He admitted to the FBI he gave Zhang a ride but claims he got lost and she jumped out of the car.
