Spain dissolved Catalonia's parliament on Friday and called new regional elections after Catalonia voted to formally declare independence. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said he had also removed Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont and his executive in a televised address after an emergency cabinet meeting. Hundreds of thousands of people rallied for Spanish unity Sunday. They chanted "Don't be fooled, Catalonia is Spain!" while waving Catalan, Spanish and European Union flags.
