The US Defense Department has released images of its missile strikes in Syria, which Washington carried out on Saturday morning in coordination with the UK and France. The Navy launched more than 100 Tomahawk cruise missiles from destroyers in the Mediterranean Sea, striking government military facilities in Syria. The officials said Syria's air defenses were ineffective.
