Coach of the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies David Fizdale used the word "disgusting" Wednesday to slam US President Donald Trump for his remarks over the white nationalist rally and subsequent violence in Charlottesville on August 12.
“It’s disgusting (to equate the far-right demonstrators with members of Black Lives Matter). What are you talking about here? How can you even say that?” Fizdale said.
He said the far-right marchers were evil people who were destroying their home.
They have nothing in common with legitimate protesters standing up for their country and Trump made a huge mistake equating the two groups, he said.
On August 12, a car plowed into a crowd of protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing one and injuring dozens more.
20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr., who was driving the vehicle, was arrested and police are treating the case as criminal homicide. He is being held on charges including second-degree murder.

President Trump said Tuesday that both the left and the right contributed to the violence.
"I think there's blame on both sides. I have no doubt about it, and you don't have any doubt about it either," he said during an ill-tempered press conference at Trump Tower in New York, during which he argued with journalists who he called "fake news."
A lot of NBA players were irritated by Trump’s comments.
“The King” Lebron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers said on Tuesday night that the “so-called president” and his administration should be responsible for the tragedy in Charlottesville.
