Another mass shooting in the United States. 12 people have been killed in southern California, after a former US Marine opened fire in a bar filled with college students. The bar is located in the city of Thousand Oaks, about 65-kilometers west of Los Angeles. This footage shows the tragedy as it unfolded. That sounds that you hear are believed to be the gun-shots, the attacker killed twelve, including a police officer.

The gunman is identified as 28-year-old Ian David Long. He was found dead at the scene, as he shot himself as officers entered the bar. The FBI said Long appeared to have acted alone, and his motive is under investigation. CGTN's May Lee was at the scene.
