British Prime Minister Theresa May took a strong line against Russia in a speech on Monday, accusing the country of "meddling in elections" and warning its leaders, "we know what you are doing and you will not succeed."
Speaking at the Lord Mayor's Banquet, May said the rules-based system that the United Kingdom helped to pioneer in the aftermath of the Second World War is in danger of being eroded.
May also accused Russia of stoking conflicts in Ukraine and repeatedly violating the national airspace of several European countries.
