We turn now to the theft of a thumb off a terracotta warrior on display in the US. The exhibition's Chinese host, the Shaanxi Cultural Heritage Promotion Center, has sent letters to overseas institutions that are displaying the warriors. The center expressed shock and anger and called for tighter security when cultural relics are on loan. US federal authorities say that the stolen thumb has been found and returned. The US man involved, Michael Rohana, has been released on bail and will face trial. The 24-year-old stole the thumb of a Chinese terracotta warrior statue being displayed at a Philadelphia museum late last year. But, the missing relic wasn't noticed by the museum for several weeks.
