Chinese engineers started construction of a massive hydropower station in the southwest of the country on Thursday. With infrastructure in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River in both Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, the Baihetan project is the largest power station under construction and will be the world's second-largest hydropower station once completed.
