Indian officials in northern Uttar Pradesh have promised justice for the 64 children who died at a hospital earlier this week.
District Magistrate Rajeev Rautela has blamed the deaths on a private medical supplier that withdrew its equipment over unpaid hospital dues.
But hospital authorities have denied those allegations, saying the children died from naturally occurring disease and other unspecified issues. The Indian government says a newly formed committee will investigate the matter.
