When asked about the basis of judgment for China’s "New Era", Leng Rong, Director of the CPC Central Committee Party Literature Research Center explained that because of long-term efforts, China had made major progress in development that resulted in the historical transformation of the Party and the country. Therefore, China is now at a new historical starting point for development and Socialism with Chinese characteristic.
