Chinese researchers have recently finished testing mechanical arms that can operate with an accuracy of two centimeters even 6,000 meters under the sea. With these mechanical arms, submersibles can carry out underwater deployments, collection and sampling. They are expected to pave the way for the 10,000-meter submersibles that China is currently working on.
