Mall Knife Attack: Suspect claims attack was motivated by personal grievances

One person has been killed and twelve others injured, after a knife attack was carried out at a shopping mall, in downtown Beijing. The attack happened at around 1PM local time at the Joy City Mall in Xicheng District on Sunday.
An injured woman was rushed to hospital, but later succumbed to her wounds and died. No others are said to be in critical condition. Police have caught the suspect and have identified him as a 35-year-old man surnamed Zhu. The suspect has claimed responsibility for the attack, and said he was motivated by personal grievances.
