US-ROK Military Drills: US sends eight F-22 fighter jets to Korean Peninsula

Now for a look at some of the other developments on the Korean Peninsula.  
South Korea's defense ministry has confirmed that eight US F-22 fighter jets have arrived to take part in regular joint exercises, between the two countries. Pyongyang usually reacts with anger to the deployment of American stealth fighters and military personnel. Meanwhile, a South Korean presidential adviser has suggested the presence of US troops in the country, would be called into question if an inter-Korean peace treaty were to be signed. But South Korean President Moon Jae-in says US troops will remain.
US-ROK MILITARY DRILLS Key Resolve exercise set to end this week. 
South Korean and US troops are set to wrap-up their joint military exercise as scheduled. A defence official said the Key Resolve exercise will finish today. The annual joint drill kicked-off back on April 23rd, and was suspended last Friday when the leaders of the DPRK and ROK, held summit talks in Panmunjom.
S DETAINEES IN DPRK Trump hints at possible release of 3 American detainees in the DPRK
US President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of the release of three US detainees in the DPRK. His message comes amid reports that the DPRK has relocated Kim Hak-song, Tony Kim and Kim Dong-chul, from a labor camp to a hotel on the outskirts of Pyongyang. The move comes ahead of a planned summit between Kim Jong-un and Trump.
KOREAN PENINSULA DIPLOMACY Seoul launches commission to implement Moon-Kim summit outcome.
South Korea has launched a presidential commission to implement the outcome of the historic summit held between President Moon and DPRK leader Kim Jong-un. The summit calls for a wide range of measures aimed at denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula. In the so-called Panmunjom Declaration, Moon and Kim agreed to an immediate halt to all hostile acts against each other. The leaders also agreed to seek a peace treaty, which they noted may require the participation of the United States and China.
