China's Political Season: Heads of foreign organizations & universities on constitutional amendment

The constitutional amendment in China has been grabbing attention all over the world, with the heads of foreign organizations and universities sharing their views.

The head of the Association For Sri Lanka-China Social And Cultural Cooperation says the constitutional amendment in China is a necessary adjustment in the development of the country.

INDRANANDA ABEYSEKERA THE ASSOCIATION FOR SRI LANKA-CHINA SOCIAL AND CULTURAL COOPERATION "I think it's necessary for a country which comes with more concepts and more cooperation with the world. It's understandable for us."

China is Myanmar's largest source of investment and largest trading partner. With strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, Myanmar scholars and political observers pay special attention to the Two Sessions, particularly on the constitutional amendment. Dr. Pho Kaung, Principal of Yangon University, who visited China many times, is deeply impressed by China's development.

We can see China's great development in recent years from the content of this time's constitutional amendment. I think the constitutional amendment will also promote China's further development."

Some other foreign politicians and scholars also believe the amendment to China's Constitution is a key measure to make sure it keeps with the times, and will be of great significance for the country's development.

So the constitutional revisions are a natural result of ripe conditions."
